W. Germany lifts sex restrictions

BONN, Germany (P)—Parliament freed adult Gemans last week to buy pornography, swap wives and indulge in group sex under a reform law that touched off moans of disapproval from conservatives.

The Bundesrat, parliment's upper house, reversed its earlier opposition and gave final approval to a bill introduced by Chancel-

lor Willy Brandt's Socialistliberal government.

The new law permits restricted sale of pornography, lowers the permissible age limit for homosexual acts between consenting Germans from 21 to 18, and lifts an outright ban on such activities as wife-swapping.

The law also cracks down on violence in TV and other mass media.
